What we collect

• If you reserve: your email address and the configuration in your cart (product, options, price and quantity).
• When you browse: an anonymous visit token and the page events of that visit, such as which sections you saw and which buttons you pressed, and how fast each page loaded on your kind of screen (rounded, with nothing about your browser or device).
• If you answer our one-question survey: the choice you pick and any words you add. We remove email addresses, phone numbers and links from the words before we keep them.
• If you use the Ask box: the question you type. We remove email addresses, phone numbers and links from it before we keep it.

We use no cookies, and we do not store IP addresses or browser user-agent strings. The visit token stays in your browser's session storage for that tab, and the store keeps your cart in your browser's local storage. Neither is a cookie, and the cart is only sent to us if you reserve.

Why

We use your email to tell you when SETTLE can be ordered and to write to you about your reservation. Reserving is free, and you can cancel anytime. The anonymous page events show us which version of a page helps people find what they need. Some visits see the site without our latest changes, so we can check that the changes really help. Survey answers tell us what almost stopped people, or what is missing. Questions show us what people want to know; the box answers only from facts we have verified, and says so when it has no verified answer.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your information. The companies that host this site and deliver our email handle it only on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep your reservation until SETTLE launches, plus up to 12 months, or until you ask us to delete it. Words you add to a survey answer are deleted after 90 days; the choice you picked stays with the visit's anonymous page events, where we count it. Questions you ask are deleted after 90 days; whether one found a verified answer stays with the visit's anonymous page events.

Deleting your data

Email ryo@chillengine.tech from the address you reserved with, and we will delete your reservation.
